Beautifully restored to reflect the classical and unassuming beauty of traditional Corfiot houses, Yellow House has been successfully converted into two entirely independent holiday homes.
Yellow Upper has a balcony running along the sea front and a covered terrace to the side and rear for private luncheons and al fresco dinners.
Colourful flowers and pretty pots decorate the naturally paved exterior whilst the leisurely holiday flair could be made even more so with the addition of a cook service even though the villa is close to a beachfront taverna for a taste of local cooking. Naturally polished wooden floors and white wooden ceilings tell of a loved history with modern comforts that will make your stay a dreamy reality.
Yellow Upper has an indoor seating area upon entering, three bedrooms and two bathrooms and can be booked in conjunction with Yellow Lower for larger parties that benefit from independence and privacy.
Yellow Upper is accessed via the rear side of the house and up a few stone steps with its own wooden gate.
Whilst a car could be of service for trips further afield Yellow House is the ideal place to enjoy without being motivated to move much and the hire of a private boat can make any shopping trip a pleasure rather than a chore.
The master bedroom is at the front of the house with majestic views across the blue green waters of the Ionian Sea. One twin room is on the left sea hand corner of the house with a patio door that opens onto the front balcony. A second twin room is on the left as one enters the property with windows looking onto the side terrace.
En-suite shower room in light blues and beige undertones with a friendly fig tree as one looks out to sea. A second shower room is available through the kitchen on the right side of the house.
The kitchen is tiled and decorated with local flair and features all modern appliances.
Kitchen Appliances: fully equipped kitchen. Fridge, oven, kettle, coffee percolator, toaster.
Air Conditioning, Private Parking, Wi-Fi, JBL Docking Speaker, Safe box, Washing Machine, Dishwasher.
The price includes a welcome food hamper, beach/pool towels, cleaning service (Monday, Wednesday, Friday), linen/ towel change on Mondays/ Fridays.

Kaminaki has two tavernas but no convenience shops or supermarkets.
The local supermarket (approximately 3km from kaminaki) is the closest option.
It offers free pick up and return to your villa to do your shopping and accepts online shopping orders with free delivery to your villa between 09:00 am and 10:30 am

If you are looking for some peace and quiet then Yellow House Upper is perfection. Unbeatable location (although we would recommend hiring a car in order to explore local restaurants in the evening). We loved being able to roll out of bed and onto the beach and then back again to make some lunch. Hiring a boat is a great way to the see the island if you fancy a day out. Christina is an excellent host and the house was very well equipped for all of our needs. We would love to come back!
For my 50th birthday we treated ourselves to a week in the top of The Yellow House in Kaminaki. We usually stay in more basic accommodation at Kaminaki, traveling on a shoestring, and it was wonderful staying somewhere more comfortable and spacious for a change. There are so many reasons that Yellow House Upper is a good choice for a family of 6 – here are a few:
– located right on the beach with beautiful views and no climb
– total privacy on the upper level beneath the Wisteria canopy
– private parking space
– gorgeous interior decor including a glamorous shower room
– Christina and her lovely family living nearby, always helpful and welcoming.
The only problem with this villa is that having stayed there I do not want to return to the more basic accommodation that we usually stay in! Thank you Christina for a wonderful holiday 🙂
Let me start by saying that I have been traveling to Corfu for 20 years and my wife has been coming here since she was 5 years old. We always stay in the area of Kaminaki or Nissaki along the NE coast.
The Yellow House Upper was the most comfortable and well appointed villa where we have stayed. It has recently been renovated to a very high standard. The spa-like bathroom was luxurious by Corfu standards. The kitchen was well equipped and Christina (owner) also provided a welcome package of food & drink. Most notably for me however was the comfort of the beds. Typical Corfu mattresses are very thin and uncomfortable. The double bed had a thick mattress pad that was very comfortable as compared to others we have used.
Location is ideal for this property. It is directly on Kaminaki Beach with unobstructed views of the sea. There is also a private parking space which is a premium in Kaminaki.
We only experienced one issue which was quickly resolved. Upon arrival, we found that the AC unit had failed. Christina was very apologetic and arranged a replacement the next day. In the interim, she provided fans for each of the rooms (although not really needed given the time of year). I greatly appreciated her responsiveness and genuine concern for our comfort.
Overall this is a fantastic villa with excellent service from the local owners. We are looking forward to staying with Kaminaki Villas again in the future!
